PENTENS FLEX-609  Single Component Polyurethane Joint Sealant

PENTENS FLEX-609 single component polyurethane, cures to form a soft elastomeric weatherproof seal and it is specifically designed for waterproofing and sealing of external and internal expansion and construction joints in buildings and engineering structures.

APPLICATION

Surface Preparation
The borders of the joints must be clean, dry, and free from loose particles, oil fat and any other contaminants. Metallic surfaces have to be made completely free from oxidation fat or other contamination by using grinders and/or cleaner.

Application
PENTENS FLEX-609 is delivered ready-to-use in economical 600 ml vacuum packed sausages and can be applied by hand or air operating guns.
When applying the material avoid cavities andbubbles.
After application smooth the surface with a wet knife or spatula.
It is advisable to put an adhesive tape along the border of the joint to guarantee clean work.
Remove the adhesive tape immediately after smoothening.

SAFETY

Impervious gloves and barrier cream should be used when handling these products.
Eye protection should be worn. In case of contact with eyes, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice if symptoms persist.
If contact with skin occurs, it must be removed before curing takes place.
Wash off with an industrial skin clearer followed by plenty of soap and water. Do not use solvent.
Ensure adequate ventilation when using these products.​
